滋賀県のナラ枯材を使った椅子を作る滋賀チェアプロジェクトのブランディングと椅子のデザインを担当しました。製造技術が非常に高い飛騨産業とのコラボレーションによって生まれたアームチェアです。滋賀を代表する椅子になってほしいと思いを込めてSHIGA CHAIRと名付けました。I was in charge of branding and chair design for the Shiga Chair Project, a project to create chairs using oak withers from Shiga Prefecture. This armchair was created in collaboration with Hida Sangyo, a company with very high manufacturing technology. We named it SHIGA CHAIR with the hope that it will become a chair representing Shiga.

香港で開催のドラえもん展に出展した作品です。ドラえもんは引き出しから登場して様々な夢を叶えてくれました。そんな自分の大切な夢や品物を入れておく大切な引き出しです。This work was exhibited at the Doraemon exhibition in Hong Kong. Doraemon appeared from a drawer and made various dreams come true. This is an important drawer where I keep my precious dreams and items.

plutoは立つ磁器製のお皿です。洗った後の水切れも良く、清潔感があります。表面のくぼみにはケチャップを入れたりできますし、裏面では指のひっかかりになっています。PLUTO is a porcelain dish that stands. It drains easily after washing and looks clean. The dimple on the surface can be used to put ketchup, and on the back side, it can be used to catch your fingers.

KUJYAKUは折りたためるパーティションです。孔雀のように羽を広げて展開することができます。柄は菊と松があります。驚きのあるプロダクトです。KUJYAKU is a foldable partition. It can be unfolded by spreading its wings like a peacock. The patterns are chrysanthemum and pine. It is a surprising product.

シンプルでオーソドックスなデザインを心がけてデザインしました。 とても軽く、使いやすく、あまり緊張しすぎない、しかしそこまでカジュアルでもない。 runoの丸く柔らかいデザインと対照的に、tachiは、凛とした佇まいを持ったデザインです。（写真の後半はrunoとの比較です） 非常に軽く出来ています。 斜め上からはあまり裏側が見えませんが、裏側の削り込みにより手がすっと入り、大変持ちやすくデザインされています。 山中塗とは、石川県加賀市の山中温泉地区で作られる漆器で、山中漆器と呼ばれます。国産のミズメ桜を轆轤挽きで仕上げ、拭き漆技法で仕上げました。 We designed this product with a simple and orthodox design in mind. It is very light, easy to use, not too strained, but not that casual either. In contrast to the round and soft design of runo, tachi has a dignified appearance. (The second half of the photo is a comparison with runo.) It is made very light. Although you cannot see the back side of the bowl from an angle, the back side has been cut down so that you can easily put your hand into the bowl, making it very easy to hold. Yamanaka-nuri is a type of lacquerware produced in the Yamanaka Onsen area of Kaga City, Ishikawa Prefecture, and is called Yamanaka lacquerware. The potter's wheel is made of domestically produced mizume-zakura (cherry tree) and finished with the wipe lacquer technique.

滋賀県の県鳥「カイツブリ」のペーパーウェイトです。彦根市のバルブ産業のメーカーで鉛フリー合金の銅ビワライトを用いて制作しました。使うほどにエイジングして味わい深い表情になります。 This is a paperweight of "Kaituburi", the prefectural bird of Shiga Prefecture. It was produced by a manufacturer of valve industry in Hikone City using copper biwaite, a lead-free alloy. CUBRICはシンプルなデザインの木製の壁掛けフックです。 ２つの立方体形状の組み合わせで構成されています。 どのような空間にもよく合う、なんでもないシンプルな形です。主張するわけでもなく、なんとなく壁にあり、玄関で向かえてくれる。 フックはあくまでも脇役。 主役は空間でありインテリアです。こんなシンプルな木製フックが意外と売っていませんでした。CUBRIC is a wooden wall hook with a simple design. It consists of a combination of two cube shapes. It is a simple, nondescript shape that fits well in any space. It does not make a statement, it is somehow on the wall, and it will greet you at the entrance. The hook is only a supporting role. The main role is the space and interior. Surprisingly, such a simple wooden hook was not sold.

引出しにはそれぞれ、過去の引き出し、現在の引き出し、未来の引き出しと名前が付けられています。 それぞれ過去、現在、未来をイメージした特徴の異なった三枚の陶板で前板が作られています。 陶板は信楽焼で手作りによって作られています。 引き出しを開けるとそこには、past, present, futureの文字が刻まれています。 陶板の引き出しは、何か特別な印象を引き出しにもたらします。 この引き出しをどのように使うかは使用者に委ねられていますが、人にはみなそれぞれの、現在、過去、未来があります。 何か大切なものや情報を入れたりする特別な箱になることを願っています。
