琵琶湖の宝石と言われるビワマスを使った缶詰です。サーモンのようなピンク色に白い筋の入った身をパッケージにもデザインしました。This canned product is made from Biwa trout, the jewel of Lake Biwa. The pink, salmon-like color with white streaked flesh is also designed into the package.

屋島山頂の各店舗に統一的な暖簾、日除け幕を設置し、販売用の手ぬぐい、バッジも制作しました。それらは伝統工芸「讃岐のり染め」の大川原染色本舗さんに制作いただいたものです。 屋島のノスタルジックで少し寂れたイメージに合いつつも、モダンと和を併せ持ったイメージです。青色階調の差を生かした背景色と、 台形のシンボル形体の組み合わせで考えたものです。 メインモチーフの台形は屋島をシンボリックに力強く表現したもので、伝統建築の反り屋根のようでもあります。カーブをつける ことで和の印象を強めています。単体でも反復の繰り返しでも、様々な媒体などに展開されてゆくイメージで、強く柔軟に様々な ものに展開できるデザインとなっています。 背景は、「屋島をひらく」のブランドステートメントに呼応する舞台幕が開かれるようなイメージです。 この１０年にわたる高松市の尽力により高松市屋島地区が、全国の優れた都市景観の事例を表彰する「都市景観大賞」で、大賞の国土交通大臣賞に選ばれました。香川県内では初の大賞受賞だそうです。 We set up a unified curtain and sunshade at each store on the top of Mt. Yashima, and also produced tenugui hand towels and badges for sales. These were produced by Okawahara Dyeing Honpo, a traditional craftsman of "Sanuki Nori Dyeing". The image of Yashima is nostalgic and a little desolate, yet modern and Japanese at the same time. The background color is a combination of different shades of blue and the trapezoidal shape of the symbol. The Yashima district of Takamatsu City was selected for the Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism Award, the grand prize of the Urban Landscape Awards, which recognize outstanding examples of urban landscapes from across Japan. This is the first time that an area in Kagawa Prefecture has won the grand prize.

本之木餅は菓匠禄兵衛における長年ベストセラー商品です。 そのリニューアルデザインを担当しました。 今までの商品同様赤をベースに金との組み合わせは変えませんが、箱の型に抜きを使うことで立体感ある仕上がりに、印刷にもツヤニスを多様することで光の当たり方で浮かび上がる深みのある演出としました。 今までの印象を損なわず、さらに表現を進化させたデザインとしています。 お菓子は、ふっくらと炊き上げた粒あんを、餅粉入りのもっちり生地で包み、焼き上げたものです。８個入りと５個入りがあります。 Motonoki Mochi has been a best-selling product of Kasho Rokubei for many years. We were in charge of its renewal design. The red base color is the same as the previous products, and the combination of gold and gold is the same, but the box is die-cut to give it a three-dimensional finish, and a variety of glossy varnishes are used in the printing to create a deep effect that comes to life when the light hits it. The design has evolved further in expression without losing the impression of the past. The confectionery is made by wrapping softly cooked sweet bean paste in mochi dough and baking it. 8 pieces and 5 pieces are available.

7月2日は、元日から182日、大晦日まで同じく182日。 “一年のまんなかの日（=MIDDAY）”である7月2日を「ミッドデイ（まんなかの日）」と名付け、新しい半年の始まりをお祝いするイベントが東京MIDTOWNで開催されます。 その中で、1年の初めのご挨拶である「年賀状」にちなみ、新たな半年の初めに「半賀状」を送ることを提案する企画があります。 HAPPY HALF BOX内で、日本のトップクリエイターとTokyo Midtown Award出身の作家15組がデザインした「半賀状」が展示されます。 ＜作品コンセプト＞ 「僕の前に道はない僕の後ろに道は出来る。」高村光太郎氏の詩です。 道の向こうにある一本の木と広がる空。 一本の木は両手を広げた私の頭であるかもしれない。 一年の半分。 人生もまだ、道半ば。 今日の一日を大切にしたい。 というメッセージを表現しました。

地球温暖化の影響で、北極の氷は溶け、ホッキョクグマは住む場所を失い始めています。 この木馬ではホッキョクグマが、その溶けて割れてしまった氷をたどたどしい足付きで歩いてゆく姿を現しています。この木馬は、自分の娘のために作ったものです。 売っているものを買って与えるより、せっかくだから、私のデザインしたものをあげたいとの思いからです。 私の父も、いろいろなものを作ってくれたものでした。それが、やはり私の中では印象が大きいのです。 この木馬は発表するや、世界中のデザインや環境系ブログを駆け巡りました。 その中には、カナダの北極の科学者から娘に買いたいとの連絡までありました。 これには驚きましたが、あいにくその時は商品化できていませんでした。 そして、2年くらい経ったある時、商品化したいと言ってくれる香港のブランドが現われたのです。 発表から3年の時を経てようやくHUZI DESIGNより商品化されました。

滋賀銀行のデビットカードのプロポーザルデザイン案です。琵琶湖の上と琵琶湖の下をテーマに２種類デザインしました。上は夕日、下は水中をイメージしたシンプルながら目を引くデザインです。This is a proposal design proposal for a debit card for Shiga Bank. Two designs were created based on the theme of above Lake Biwa and below Lake Biwa. The upper design is a simple but eye-catching image of a sunset, while the lower design is an underwater image.

滋賀県民なら誰もが知っている千紀園のCM。 千紀園のお茶や抹茶スイーツへのこだわりは並々ならぬものがあり、この度、その千紀園の大福茶のパッケージデザインを担当させていただきました。 大福茶(おおぶくちゃ)はお正月に無病息災と幸せを願い飲むお茶です。 千紀園と言えば鶴のマークなので、デザインにはあえて亀でいこうと早い段階で思いました。 鶴と亀があるとさらにおめでたい感じがするためです。 最初は具象的な亀の絵も描いてみたのですが、抽象的であるほうが良いと思い、デザインを抽象化しました。 大福茶の文字の周囲にある六角形の形が亀をイメージしたものなのです。 蓋をあけると千紀園の鶴が蓋の内側に現れるようにしました。 袋タイプの方も、缶のプロポーションをそのまま投影したデザインとしました。 Everyone in Shiga Prefecture is familiar with Senkien's commercials. Senkien's commitment to tea and matcha sweets is extraordinary, We are pleased to announce that we are now in charge of the packaging design for Senkien's Daifuku tea. Daifuku tea is a tea to be drunk at New Year's to wish for good health and happiness. Senkien is known for its crane logo, so I decided at an early stage to use a tortoise in the design. The reason is that having a crane and a turtle on the tea makes it look even more festive. At first, I tried drawing a figurative turtle, but I thought it would be better to make the design abstract. The hexagonal shape around the word "Daifuku-cha" is the image of a turtle. When you open the lid, we made the Senkien crane appear inside the lid. Oobuku-cha is a tea that is drunk on New Year's Day to wish for good health and happiness. Senkien is known for its crane symbol, so I decided to use a turtle for the design. I decided to use a tortoise for the design because I felt that having a crane and a tortoise would make the tea more festive. It is available at the main store, Kintetsu Kusatsu, and on line stores.

京都の老舗西谷堂の京都野菜の味噌煮込みのパッケージデザインです。シルバーのパウチでは味気ないので味噌桶に漬かった中身が一目でわかるパッケージとしました。白味噌と赤味噌があります。This is the package design for Nishitanido's Kyoto vegetable miso stew. A silver pouch would be bland, so we designed a package that allows you to see at a glance what's inside the miso tub. There are white miso and red miso.

滋賀県産のジャンボレモンを使った、ダックワーズのデザインです。滋賀のナンバープレートはイナズマナンバーと言われたりするので、イナズマダックワーズと名付けられました。雲の下に閃光がきらめくイメージでデザインしました。This is a design for duck wares using jumbo lemons produced in Shiga Prefecture. The Shiga license plate is sometimes referred to as the Inazuma license plate, so it was named Inazuma Duckwars. The design is based on the image of a sparkling flash of light under the clouds.
