空気清浄器は、『きれいな空気』を生み出す機械です。しかし、どの程度の空気が機械に取り込まれ、そしてきれいになって排出され、循環しているのか私達が認識するのは難しいのです。それは空気が私達の目に見えないものだからです。しかし、空気清浄器という機械の原理上、いったん空気を機械内に取り込み、フィルターなどを通してきれいにしてから排出するという構造は、効率良く空気を循環させるためには不可避なものでもあります。そこで、ここで提案する空気清浄器は、空気清浄器内に取り込まれ、きれいになった空気をキャパシティーとして視覚化し、断続的に変化するボリュームで空間を創り出すことで、私達と空気清浄器との新しい関係を築くものです。 An air purifier is a machine that produces "clean air." 室内用子供乗用玩具です。 中は収納で引出しになっていてお尻のほうから引き出せます。 オモチャなどを楽しく片付けながら遊べる乗り物です。 つののように張り出した部分は把手になっており、つかんで走ります。 子供の乗り物を考えるにあたって、子供の乗り物は暮らしの中で邪魔なものである。 あるいはいつか邪魔になる。と思っていました。 ですので、有用な引出し型の収納が走れば良いなと思っていたのです。 そして、子供は引出しが大好きなのです。 出来るだけコストを抑えるためにシンプルな板のみで作ろうと思いました。 でも、考えていくうち、少しずつ、箱が斜めになったのでした。 その方が、角がなく乗り心地も良いのです。

これは、信楽焼の陶器で出来た厨子（仏壇）です。 陶器の気品と重厚感が仏壇に存在感を与えています。 現在の住宅事情にあっても、置き場所をとらず、みんなの集まるリビングにおいても違和感がなく、 小さくとも確かな気品と存在感は陶器ならではのものです。

磁器の湯たんぽのデザインです。布団の中へ入れて使用する湯たんぽですが、多くの湯たんぽは、蓋の部分が突起として出ています。その出っ張りをなくし、人が触れる形状としてもっともあってほしかった形態を目指しました。This is a porcelain hot water bottle design. Most hot-water bottles are placed in a futon and the lid of the bottle protrudes from the futon. We eliminated the protrusion and aimed to create a shape that people can touch.
