Oiled AYU

赤坂サカスで開催されたCool Kyoto2011に間接照明用のLED「ウィルライン」を展示するためのブースのデザインを担当しました。 京都らしいアイデンティティと、ブースに強化ダンボールを用いることを求められました。 強化ダンボールの特性を活かし、美しい光の陰影を表現し、全体を統合させるデザインを考えました。 あかりの縦格子 間接照明によって強化ダンボールの縦格子を照らし出します。 狭く小さなスペースでありますが、遠くからでも目を引く空間的な展示什器としています。 LEDの商品をそのままただ見せるのではなく、どのようにLEDの効果があるのかを見せるものとし、 落ち着きのある美しい陰影をダンボールで描き出す事に成功しました。 LEDはあくまでも脇役であり、引き立たせるべきもの、照らし出すべきものを配置しました。

陶芸家　小川顕三氏と小川記一氏のブランドディレクションを担当しました。 陶芸家のお二人に対し、まず、作品から印象を得た二色のコンセプトカラーを設定しました。 その二色を、名刺から、リーフレット、ホームページに至るまで、対比的に使用することで、お互いを引き立てあうように計画しました。

saruyamaは、無垢材のソリッド感を活かしたコートーハンガーです。本体は４つにノックダウン可能です。いろいろな高さにフックがあり、家族みんなで使えるコートハンガーです。フックの部分は山に登っているサルのイメージで、頂上にいる赤いのがボスザルです。

今年で８回目を迎える滋賀県高島市の「ええもの」を集めたコンテスト「高島ええものグランプリ」のリニューアルブランディングに関わりました。 受賞者は「センスがええ」ということで、トロフィー代わりに高島扇子が贈呈されました。 最高金賞に選ばれたのは、とも栄さんの「ふなずしxベイクド羊羹」の”ふなチー”です。 滋賀の人って、本当に鮒寿司を美味しくすることに執念を燃やしています！これが鮒寿司なの？っていうくらい美味しいもの沢山あります。これも、チーズ不使用なのに濃厚チーズケーキそのもので、審査員絶賛でした。 他にも金賞の発酵ドルチェ米シュワグルトも鮒寿司を作る際の飯から作られたヨーグルトです。 その他の金賞には、和ろうそくの大與さんは有名ですが、高島発アウトドアブランドの業界最小クラスの焚火台や、琵琶湖の宝石と呼ばれるビワマスひつまぶし、メタセコイアのブラウニーケーキなど、ユニークな商品が揃いました。 審査委員長も近年稀に見るハイレベルとおっしゃっていました。 We were involved in the renewal branding of the contest that featured "ehimono" (good things) from Takashima City, Shiga Prefecture, which is now in its 8th year. 木村水産のあゆ塩焼きのパッケージデザインです。 個包装で国内最高の養殖鮎としてふさわしい高級感を高めるデザインとしました。 冷凍商品のため、外側は銀印刷でシャープにして冷感のあるデザイン、中は一転、赤を施し、冷凍ケースの中にあっても、火入れし、焼きたてのように美味しそうに見えることを狙いました。 This is the package design of Ayu Salt Grilled Ayu. The individually wrapped ayu fish is designed to enhance the sense of quality as the best farmed ayu fish in Japan. 日本最高積雪記録はどこでしょう？意外にも関西、滋賀県の米原市にある伊吹山です。その記録は11m82cmと実は世界一の記録でもあります。 実際に滋賀県北部に住んでいると、冬は北風がとても強いです。福井県の若狭湾からの雪雲を遮る山が低く、伊吹山にぶち当たるということです。 最近、隣の彦根市でも60年ぶりの大雪を記録しました。滋賀県の意外な姿ということで「どこの山だろう？」と気になるポスターをデザインしました。 Where is the record for the highest snowfall in Japan? ONDAはイタリア語で波を意味します。これはチェストですが表面が波のようにカーブしています。ウォルナットとヨーロッパビーチに２種類の木のコントラストがあるデザインです。ONDA means wave in Italian. This is a chest, but its surface is curved like a wave. The design has a contrast between two types of wood in walnut and European beach.
