FUNAZUSHI ICE

「ふなずしアイス」のパッケージデザインです。彦根の老舗「いと重菓舗」と「あゆの店きむら」のコラボ商品です。正確には飯（いい）と呼ばれる、ふなと一緒に漬け込むお米を使っており、ふながこの中に入っているわけではありません。この飯は、今までは、あまり用途がなく捨てられる事も多かったふなずしの材料です。ふなずしのイメージを覆し、臭みもなく、レアチーズのようでとても美味しいです。このデザインを考える上で、まず想像したのは「ふなずし＝臭い」という認識が一般にはされやすいことを想像しました。この中身は決して臭くない、美味しいものですから、このレアチーズのような美味しさをパッケージを通して適切に伝える必要があると思いました。率直に美味しそうだと感じてもらえるシズル感のあるパッケージを提案しました。

Hikizuri Bell Manjyu

三井寺の有名な饅頭です。その昔弁慶がひきづったとされる鐘がモチーフになっています。一つの箱で何種類もの中身に対応できるようパッケージシステムを考えました。わかりやすいように封印のシールで中身も伝えています。It is a famous bun of Mitsui Temple. The motif is a bell said to have been pulled by Benkei in the old days. We designed the packaging system so that a single box can be used for several kinds of contents. The contents are also indicated with a seal for easy identification.

Cosmopolitan Tourism R&D

国際観光政策研究所のロゴデザインです。CとTを組み合わせて地球のように見せています。Logo design for the Institute for Cosmopolitan Tourism R&D, combining the C and the T to look like the earth.

和た与のCI と包装紙のリニューアルデザインです。竹の皮に包まれた羊羹を開いた瞬間の形をグラフィックパターンとして包装紙に散りばめました。複数のサイズを作ることになっていた包装紙はサイズによって柄のパターンを変えて楽しいものにしています。This is a renewal design of Wata-yo's CI and wrapping paper. The graphic pattern of the shape of a yokan wrapped in a bamboo skin at the moment it is opened is scattered on the wrapping paper. The wrapping paper, which was to be made in multiple sizes, has a different pattern for each size to make it fun.

滋賀の繊維を使ったファブリックブランドです。湖東地域の麻織物と高島ちぢみを使って小物を作りました。柄になっているのは滋賀にゆかりあるモチーフのデザインです。使うほどに良さがわかる気持ち良い生地と評判です。These are fabric brands using fibers from Shiga. Hemp fabrics from the Koto region and Takashima chijimi are used to make these small items. The patterns are designed with motifs associated with Shiga. The fabrics have a reputation for being pleasant to the touch, and the more you use them, the more you appreciate their quality.

INAZUMA DACQUOISE

滋賀県産のジャンボレモンを使った、ダックワーズのデザインです。滋賀のナンバープレートはイナズマナンバーと言われたりするので、イナズマダックワーズと名付けられました。雲の下に閃光がきらめくイメージでデザインしました。This is a design for duck wares using jumbo lemons produced in Shiga Prefecture. The Shiga license plate is sometimes referred to as the Inazuma license plate, so it was named Inazuma Duckwars. The design is based on the image of a sparkling flash of light under the clouds.

SAISIRはサカエヤに併設されたフレンチレストランです。SAISIRは掴むという意味であり、象形文字の牛の文字にヒントを得ながら、ナイフのようなロゴマークのデザインとしました。SAISIR is a French restaurant attached to Sakaeya, and the logo mark was designed to look like a knife, inspired by the hieroglyphic character for cow, SAISIR meaning "to grasp.

OITA ASIAN SCULPTURE EXHIBITION

さまざまな表情をした金属の帯のようなものが右のほうへ伸びて、コンペティションを競いあっている様を表現しました。一つ一つが異なるカラフルな作家の違った個性であり、全体で現代彫刻のような表現としました。遠くからでも目をひくキラリとした表現としています。The work depicts a series of metal strips with various expressions extending toward the right, competing with each other in a competition. Each piece is a different colorful individuality of a different artist, and the overall expression is that of a contemporary sculpture. The overall effect is that of a contemporary sculpture, which is eye-catching even from a distance.

AYU KIMURA SHOPPING BAG

あゆの店きむらのショッピングバッグをデザインしました。マチ部分の柄とシームレスにつながるでざいんです。８角形の形は生け簀の形を図案化したものです。We designed a shopping bag for Ayu Kimura. The octagonal shape is based on the shape of a fish tank.

近江八幡丁稚羊羹の老舗「和た与」の丁稚羊羹のパッケージデザインです。シンプルながら老舗の羊羹らしく伝統と新しさを融合させたデザインとしています。This is the package design of "Wata-yo", a long-established Omi-Hachiman Decchi-Yokan. The design is simple, but it is a fusion of tradition and novelty, as if it is a yokan made by a long-established store.

7月2日は、元日から182日、大晦日まで同じく182日。 “一年のまんなかの日（=MIDDAY）”である7月2日を「ミッドデイ（まんなかの日）」と名付け、新しい半年の始まりをお祝いするイベントが東京MIDTOWNで開催されます。その中で、1年の初めのご挨拶である「年賀状」にちなみ、新たな半年の初めに「半賀状」を送ることを提案する企画があります。 HAPPY HALF BOX内で、日本のトップクリエイターとTokyo Midtown Award出身の作家15組がデザインした「半賀状」が展示されます。＜作品コンセプト＞「僕の前に道はない僕の後ろに道は出来る。」高村光太郎氏の詩です。道の向こうにある一本の木と広がる空。一本の木は両手を広げた私の頭であるかもしれない。一年の半分。人生もまだ、道半ば。今日の一日を大切にしたい。というメッセージを表現しました。
