日本最高積雪記録はどこでしょう？意外にも関西、滋賀県の米原市にある伊吹山です。その記録は11m82cmと実は世界一の記録でもあります。 実際に滋賀県北部に住んでいると、冬は北風がとても強いです。福井県の若狭湾からの雪雲を遮る山が低く、伊吹山にぶち当たるということです。 最近、隣の彦根市でも60年ぶりの大雪を記録しました。滋賀県の意外な姿ということで「どこの山だろう？」と気になるポスターをデザインしました。 Where is the record for the highest snowfall in Japan? Surprisingly, it is Mt. Ibuki in Maibara City, Shiga Prefecture, Kansai. Its record is 11m82cm, which is actually the highest record in the world. In fact, living in the northern part of Shiga Prefecture, the north wind is very strong in winter. This means that the mountains are low enough to block the snow clouds from Wakasa Bay in Fukui Prefecture and hit Mt. Ibuki. Recently, the neighboring city of Hikone also recorded its heaviest snowfall in 60 years. 滋賀県民なら誰もが知っている千紀園のCM。 千紀園のお茶や抹茶スイーツへのこだわりは並々ならぬものがあり、この度、その千紀園の大福茶のパッケージデザインを担当させていただきました。 大福茶(おおぶくちゃ)はお正月に無病息災と幸せを願い飲むお茶です。 千紀園と言えば鶴のマークなので、デザインにはあえて亀でいこうと早い段階で思いました。 鶴と亀があるとさらにおめでたい感じがするためです。 最初は具象的な亀の絵も描いてみたのですが、抽象的であるほうが良いと思い、デザインを抽象化しました。 大福茶の文字の周囲にある六角形の形が亀をイメージしたものなのです。 蓋をあけると千紀園の鶴が蓋の内側に現れるようにしました。 袋タイプの方も、缶のプロポーションをそのまま投影したデザインとしました。 Everyone in Shiga Prefecture is familiar with Senkien's commercials. Senkien's commitment to tea and matcha sweets is extraordinary, We are pleased to announce that we are now in charge of the packaging design for Senkien's Daifuku tea. Daifuku tea is a tea to be drunk at New Year's to wish for good health and happiness. Senkien is known for its crane logo, so I decided at an early stage to use a tortoise in the design. The reason is that having a crane and a turtle on the tea makes it look even more festive. At first, I tried drawing a figurative turtle, but I thought it would be better to make the design abstract. The hexagonal shape around the word "Daifuku-cha" is the image of a turtle. When you open the lid, we made the Senkien crane appear inside the lid. Oobuku-cha is a tea that is drunk on New Year's Day to wish for good health and happiness. Senkien is known for its crane symbol, so I decided to use a turtle for the design. I decided to use a tortoise for the design because I felt that having a crane and a tortoise would make the tea more festive. It is available at the main store, Kintetsu Kusatsu, and on line stores.

あゆの店きむらのショッピングバッグをデザインしました。マチ部分の柄とシームレスにつながるでざいんです。８角形の形は生け簀の形を図案化したものです。We designed a shopping bag for Ayu Kimura. The octagonal shape is based on the shape of a fish tank.

滋賀の繊維を使ったファブリックブランドです。湖東地域の麻織物と高島ちぢみを使って小物を作りました。柄になっているのは滋賀にゆかりあるモチーフのデザインです。使うほどに良さがわかる気持ち良い生地と評判です。These are fabric brands using fibers from Shiga. Hemp fabrics from the Koto region and Takashima chijimi are used to make these small items. The patterns are designed with motifs associated with Shiga. The fabrics have a reputation for being pleasant to the touch, and the more you use them, the more you appreciate their quality.

金ごまあゆは、琵琶湖産の小鮎の佃煮に、ごまをまぶした商品です。ご飯にのせたりして食べると美味しいのでその姿をパッケージデザインとしました。Golden Sesami Ayu is a tsukudani, a small sweetfish from Lake Biwa, sprinkled with sesame seeds. It is delicious when eaten over rice, so we designed the package to look like that.

琵琶湖のレイクグラスを展示するミュージアムとして、米原駅の構内にあるびわこ一周レンタサイクルに設置しました。自転車でビワイチをしながら琵琶湖に立ち寄ってもらいレイクグラスを探してほしい。そして持ち帰ってきたものを展示できるスペースです。This museum displays Lake Biwa lake glass and is located on the Biwako round-the-bike rental bicycle located in the premises of Maibara Station. We want people to stop by Lake Biwa while doing the Biwaichi by bicycle and look for lake glass. This is a space where they can then display the items they bring back.

近江八幡市の安土を戦国イメージでブランディングしました。安土城跡を有する織田信長ゆかりの地であり、織田信長の兜のイメージでロゴデザインを行いました。「信長を旅しよう」のコピーも考案し、かつての水路、陸路をたどるツアーも敢行されました。We branded Azuchi in Omi Hachiman City with the image of the Warring States period. The logo design was based on the image of Nobunaga Oda's helmet. We also devised a copy of "Let's Travel Nobunaga" and organized a tour that traces the waterways and overland routes of the past.

SAISIRはサカエヤに併設されたフレンチレストランです。SAISIRは掴むという意味であり、象形文字の牛の文字にヒントを得ながら、ナイフのようなロゴマークのデザインとしました。SAISIR is a French restaurant attached to Sakaeya, and the logo mark was designed to look like a knife, inspired by the hieroglyphic character for cow, SAISIR meaning "to grasp.

78は米焼酎です。78のステンレスコップにデザインを合わせた焼酎です。78 is a rice shochu; the design of this shochu matches the stainless steel cup of 78.
