UDCBK（アーバンデザインセンターびわこ・くさつ）は、草津の未来のまちのデザインを考えるために、 大学（教職員や学生）、企業（経営者や通勤者）、行政（国や県や市の職員）の人々が、 草津に住む市民の方々と気軽に自由に話し合い、交流する場所として南草津駅前に生まれました。 様々な人がここを拠点に交わり、その中から様々な事が発展的に広がっていく。 この場所は言うなれば「未来創造交差点」であると考えました。 様々な道が交差し、つながり、そして広がってゆく様子をロゴマークとしてデザインしました。 UDCBKの文字がそれぞれ道のようになっており、ジャンクションになっています。 グラデーションの色は、様々な考えや、アクション、動きを表現しています。

滋賀銀行のデビットカードのプロポーザルデザイン案です。琵琶湖の上と琵琶湖の下をテーマに２種類デザインしました。上は夕日、下は水中をイメージしたシンプルながら目を引くデザインです。This is a proposal design proposal for a debit card for Shiga Bank. Two designs were created based on the theme of above Lake Biwa and below Lake Biwa. The upper design is a simple but eye-catching image of a sunset, while the lower design is an underwater image.

近江茶　琵琶湖ほまれのパッケージデザインです。茶の栽培地である、三重県境から琵琶湖まで繋がっているというイメージを水彩画で表現しました。This is the package design for Omi Tea Biwako Homare. The image of the connection from the border of Mie Prefecture to Lake Biwa, where the tea is grown, is expressed in watercolor.

三井寺の有名な饅頭です。その昔弁慶がひきづったとされる鐘がモチーフになっています。一つの箱で何種類もの中身に対応できるようパッケージシステムを考えました。わかりやすいように封印のシールで中身も伝えています。It is a famous bun of Mitsui Temple. The motif is a bell said to have been pulled by Benkei in the old days. We designed the packaging system so that a single box can be used for several kinds of contents. The contents are also indicated with a seal for easy identification.

長浜市にあるパン屋ポムドテールの源八ラスクのデザインです。パン職人こだわりの生地から作るラスク。種類も多いですが最小限の資材で対応できるシステムを作りました。ギフトボックスはパンの形をしています。This is a design of Genpachi rusk from bakery Pomme de Terre in Nagahama, Shiga Prefecture. These rusks are made from dough with the baker's special care. There are many different flavors, but we have created a system that can handle a minimum amount of packaging materials. The gift box is in the shape of a loaf of bread.

今年で８回目を迎える滋賀県高島市の「ええもの」を集めたコンテスト「高島ええものグランプリ」のリニューアルブランディングに関わりました。 受賞者は「センスがええ」ということで、トロフィー代わりに高島扇子が贈呈されました。 最高金賞に選ばれたのは、とも栄さんの「ふなずしxベイクド羊羹」の”ふなチー”です。 滋賀の人って、本当に鮒寿司を美味しくすることに執念を燃やしています！これが鮒寿司なの？っていうくらい美味しいもの沢山あります。これも、チーズ不使用なのに濃厚チーズケーキそのもので、審査員絶賛でした。 他にも金賞の発酵ドルチェ米シュワグルトも鮒寿司を作る際の飯から作られたヨーグルトです。 その他の金賞には、和ろうそくの大與さんは有名ですが、高島発アウトドアブランドの業界最小クラスの焚火台や、琵琶湖の宝石と呼ばれるビワマスひつまぶし、メタセコイアのブラウニーケーキなど、ユニークな商品が揃いました。 審査委員長も近年稀に見るハイレベルとおっしゃっていました。 We were involved in the renewal branding of the contest that featured "ehimono" (good things) from Takashima City, Shiga Prefecture, which is now in its 8th year. In lieu of a trophy, a Takashima fan was presented to the winners for their "good taste. The top gold medal went to Tomoei's "Funachie" (Funazushi x Baked Yokan). The people of Shiga are really dedicated to making funa-zushi delicious! There are so many delicious funazushi that you may wonder, "Is this really funazushi? The judges also praised the cheesecake, saying that it was just like a rich cheesecake, even though it did not contain cheese. Another gold award winner, Fermented Dolce Rice Schwagurt, is a yogurt made from the rice used to make funa-zushi. Other Gold Award winners included Ooyo, a well-known Japanese candle maker, the smallest fire pit in the industry from an outdoor brand from Takashima, Biwa trout hittomabushi, the jewel of Lake Biwa, metasequoia brownie cake, and many other unique products. チョンマゲ羊羹はチョンマゲの形をした羊羹です。日本では人に何かをおねがいするときに、〜〜してチョンマゲ。という文化があります。このお土産を渡して、〜〜してチョンマゲとお願いしてみましょう。Chonmage Yokan is a type of yokan jelly in the shape of a chonmage. In Japan, when you ask someone to do something for you, you say "〜〜してチョンマゲ. In Japan, there is a culture of saying, "Please give me this souvenir and ask me to do something for you. Give this souvenir to someone and ask them to do something for you.

近江八幡市で、社会福祉法人　おうみ福祉会の新しい建物が５月に開所しました。 その建物は「きみいろ」と言います。きみいろは日本語であなたの色という意味です。 作業所に訪れる人、それぞれの個性が彩る家族のような場所。そんなイメージかもしれません。今回、内部のサインを担当させていただきました。その「きみいろ」＝「君色」というネーミングから、キャンバスに絵の具で描いたような、にじみと温かみのあるサインとすることを思いつきました。ここでは「せんべい」も作っており、せんべいルームのサインも作りました。A new building of Ohmi Fukushi Kai social welfare corporation opened in May in Ohmi-Hachiman City.The building is called "Kimiiro. Kimiiro means "your color" in Japanese.It is a family-like place where the individuality of each person who visits the workshop adds color to the place. That may be the image of this building.This time, I was in charge of the interior signage.From the name "Kimiiro" = "Kimiiro," we came up with the idea of making the signage blotchy and warm, as if painted on a canvas. We also make "senbei" here, so we created a sign for the senbei room.

滋賀県産のジャンボレモンを使った、ダックワーズのデザインです。滋賀のナンバープレートはイナズマナンバーと言われたりするので、イナズマダックワーズと名付けられました。雲の下に閃光がきらめくイメージでデザインしました。This is a design for duck wares using jumbo lemons produced in Shiga Prefecture. The Shiga license plate is sometimes referred to as the Inazuma license plate, so it was named Inazuma Duckwars. The design is based on the image of a sparkling flash of light under the clouds.
