近江牛専門店万葉のパッケージデザインを担当しました。 近江牛は日本三大和牛の一つ。日本でも最高の品質の牛肉です。 万葉というお店の名前から万葉集を思いました。 万葉集は、7世紀後半から8世紀後半にかけて編纂された、現存するわが国最古の歌集です。 精肉会社が経営する専門店であり、お肉作りの思いをお客さんに伝えてゆくのに「本」の形が思い浮かび万葉集とつながりました。 和綴と呼ばれる日本の伝統的なの本の綴じ方を模したパッケージに包まれたお肉。本を開ける高揚感と高級感のあるパッケージになっています。 紙にはエンボスの加工で布製本のような表現としました。ゴムとメタルシールでパッケージを封印しています。 最高級のお肉にふさわしいデザインとしました。 We were in charge of package design for the Omi beef specialty restaurant Manyo. Omi beef is one of Japan's three major beef varieties. It is the highest quality beef in Japan. The name of the restaurant, Manyo, made me think of the Manyoshu (The Anthology of Myriad Leaves). The Manyoshu is the oldest existing collection of poetry in Japan, compiled from the late 7th to the late 8th century. As a specialty store run by a meat company, the shape of a "book" came to mind for conveying the concept of meat production to customers, which led me to Manyoshu. The meat is wrapped in a package that resembles the traditional Japanese book binding method called Watoji.The package has an exuberant and luxurious feel of opening a book. The paper is embossed to give it the appearance of a cloth-bound book. The package is sealed with rubber and metal seals. The design was appropriate for top quality meat. The package is designed to be opened with a sense of exhilaration and luxury.

日本最高積雪記録はどこでしょう？意外にも関西、滋賀県の米原市にある伊吹山です。その記録は11m82cmと実は世界一の記録でもあります。 実際に滋賀県北部に住んでいると、冬は北風がとても強いです。福井県の若狭湾からの雪雲を遮る山が低く、伊吹山にぶち当たるということです。 最近、隣の彦根市でも60年ぶりの大雪を記録しました。滋賀県の意外な姿ということで「どこの山だろう？」と気になるポスターをデザインしました。 Where is the record for the highest snowfall in Japan? Surprisingly, it is Mt. Ibuki in Maibara City, Shiga Prefecture, Kansai. Its record is 11m82cm, which is actually the highest record in the world. In fact, living in the northern part of Shiga Prefecture, the north wind is very strong in winter. This means that the mountains are low enough to block the snow clouds from Wakasa Bay in Fukui Prefecture and hit Mt. Ibuki. Recently, the neighboring city of Hikone also recorded its heaviest snowfall in 60 years. Being an unexpected sight in Shiga Prefecture, I designed this poster to make people wonder, "Which mountain is it?" I designed this poster to make you wonder "Which mountain is it?

これは、信楽焼の陶器で出来た厨子（仏壇）です。 陶器の気品と重厚感が仏壇に存在感を与えています。 現在の住宅事情にあっても、置き場所をとらず、みんなの集まるリビングにおいても違和感がなく、 小さくとも確かな気品と存在感は陶器ならではのものです。

和紙でできたノート豆腐一帳のロゴデザイン。 エッジがピンとしつつも、中身はやわらかい、そんな豆腐のような手作り感のあるロゴを目指してデザインしました。

今年で８回目を迎える滋賀県高島市の「ええもの」を集めたコンテスト「高島ええものグランプリ」のリニューアルブランディングに関わりました。 受賞者は「センスがええ」ということで、トロフィー代わりに高島扇子が贈呈されました。 最高金賞に選ばれたのは、とも栄さんの「ふなずしxベイクド羊羹」の”ふなチー”です。 滋賀の人って、本当に鮒寿司を美味しくすることに執念を燃やしています！これが鮒寿司なの？っていうくらい美味しいもの沢山あります。これも、チーズ不使用なのに濃厚チーズケーキそのもので、審査員絶賛でした。 他にも金賞の発酵ドルチェ米シュワグルトも鮒寿司を作る際の飯から作られたヨーグルトです。 その他の金賞には、和ろうそくの大與さんは有名ですが、高島発アウトドアブランドの業界最小クラスの焚火台や、琵琶湖の宝石と呼ばれるビワマスひつまぶし、メタセコイアのブラウニーケーキなど、ユニークな商品が揃いました。 審査委員長も近年稀に見るハイレベルとおっしゃっていました。 We were involved in the renewal branding of the contest that featured "ehimono" (good things) from Takashima City, Shiga Prefecture, which is now in its 8th year. The people of Shiga are really dedicated to making funa-zushi delicious! There are so many delicious funazushi that you may wonder, "Is this really funazushi? The judges also praised the cheesecake, saying that it was just like a rich cheesecake, even though it did not contain cheese. Another gold award winner, Fermented Dolce Rice Schwagurt, is a yogurt made from the rice used to make funa-zushi. Other Gold Award winners included Ooyo, a well-known Japanese candle maker, the smallest fire pit in the industry from an outdoor brand from Takashima, Biwa trout hittomabushi, the jewel of Lake Biwa, metasequoia brownie cake, and many other unique products. 琵琶湖の宝石と言われるビワマスを使った缶詰です。サーモンのようなピンク色に白い筋の入った身をパッケージにもデザインしました。This canned product is made from Biwa trout, the jewel of Lake Biwa. The pink, salmon-like color with white streaked flesh is also designed into the package.

長浜市にあるパン屋ポムドテールの源八ラスクのデザインです。パン職人こだわりの生地から作るラスク。種類も多いですが最小限の資材で対応できるシステムを作りました。ギフトボックスはパンの形をしています。This is a design of Genpachi rusk from bakery Pomme de Terre in Nagahama, Shiga Prefecture. These rusks are made from dough with the baker's special care. There are many different flavors, but we have created a system that can handle a minimum amount of packaging materials. The gift box is in the shape of a loaf of bread.

都会的で女性的なイメージで全体を構成しながら、固すぎずない柔軟性を持った家具です。 ビーチのナチュラルカラーと、奥行きのある上品な色の組み合わせにより、カジュアルでありながら、 上質で存在感のあるイメージを大切にした家具のシリーズです。 Nissen Design Award 2006:1st.prize
