Sustainable Architecture Book Design

装丁デザインに際し、本書のタイトルはすでに「サステイナブル建築」と決まっており、クライアント（著者）の希望はグリーンの表紙のイメージというものでした。サステイナブル建築とはいかなるものだろうかというところを出発点とし思索をめぐらせました。私自身のサステイナブル建築のイメージとしては自然発生的に点在する集落のようなものでした。一つ一つの個はそれぞれ個性を持ち、それらは留まることなく動的に変化し更新されつづけるが、全体としての調和は決して崩れないような強さのあるつながり。そのようなイメージでした。そのような関係性はマクロな宇宙の組成から、ミクロの細胞、原子の配列まで通じるものではないでしょうか。圧縮力と張力のインタラクティブなバランスで全てのものは成立している。そのようなメッセージを込めた装丁デザインとしました。 When designing the book's cover, the title had already been decided as "Sustainable Architecture," and the client (author) requested a green cover image. I began by contemplating what sustainable architecture truly is. My own image of sustainable architecture was like a collection of settlements scattered spontaneously. Each individual has its own personality, and they are constantly changing and being renewed, but the overall harmony is strong enough to never break down. That was the image I had. I believe such relationships extend from the composition of the macroscopic universe to the arrangement of cells and atoms at the microscopic level. Everything is based on an interactive balance of compression and tension. I designed the cover to convey this message.

AYU CUT OPEN and DRIED

あゆのひらき（干物）です。干物はザルで干すので竹で編んだザルをイメージして高級感あるパッケージをデザインしました。このパッケージはpantawards 2020の金賞を受賞しています。AYU HIRAKI (dried ayu fish). Dried ayu is dried in a colander, so we designed a luxurious package with the image of a colander made of woven bamboo. This package won a gold medal at pantawards 2020.

220は特殊な触媒を用いて飲料の味を変化させる魔法のマドラーです。数秒かき混ぜるだけでワインが熟成されたような味になります。プロダクトデザインは秋田道夫氏、ブランディングを弊社が担当しました。220 is a magic muddler that uses a special catalyst to change the taste of beverages. Just a few seconds of stirring is all it takes to make wine taste like it has been aged. Product design was done by Michio Akita and branding by our company.

TOYAMA FESTIVAL

第62回富山まつりの公式ポスターを担当しました。青空の下、市内のメイン道路で日中にダイナミックな踊りが行われるこのお祭りを象徴的に踊り子の姿でデザインしました。We were in charge of the official poster for the 62nd Toyama Festival. We designed the dancers to symbolize this festival, in which dynamic dancing takes place during the day on the city's main roads under a blue sky.

Omi Beef Marinated in Miso & corned beef

近江牛のコンビーフと味噌漬けのパッケージデザインです。パッケージの厚紙を展開すると牛の姿が消えます。This is a package design for Omi beef corned beef and miso marinated beef. When the cardboard of the package is unfolded, the cow disappears.

近江八幡市の安土を戦国イメージでブランディングしました。安土城跡を有する織田信長ゆかりの地であり、織田信長の兜のイメージでロゴデザインを行いました。「信長を旅しよう」のコピーも考案し、かつての水路、陸路をたどるツアーも敢行されました。We branded Azuchi in Omi Hachiman City with the image of the Warring States period. The logo design was based on the image of Nobunaga Oda's helmet. We also devised a copy of "Let's Travel Nobunaga" and organized a tour that traces the waterways and overland routes of the past.

AYU BOILED in SOY SOURCE

あゆの醤油煮の缶詰です。高級感があり、美味しそうに見えるように、醤油が染み込んでいくようなイメージでデザインしました。Canned ayu fish simmered in soy sauce. We designed it to look luxurious and delicious, with the image of soy sauce soaking into the product.

日本最高積雪記録はどこでしょう？意外にも関西、滋賀県の米原市にある伊吹山です。その記録は11m82cmと実は世界一の記録でもあります。実際に滋賀県北部に住んでいると、冬は北風がとても強いです。福井県の若狭湾からの雪雲を遮る山が低く、伊吹山にぶち当たるということです。最近、隣の彦根市でも60年ぶりの大雪を記録しました。滋賀県の意外な姿ということで「どこの山だろう？」と気になるポスターをデザインしました。 Where is the record for the highest snowfall in Japan? Surprisingly, it is Mt. Ibuki in Maibara City, Shiga Prefecture, Kansai. Its record is 11m82cm, which is actually the highest record in the world. In fact, living in the northern part of Shiga Prefecture, the north wind is very strong in winter. This means that the mountains are low enough to block the snow clouds from Wakasa Bay in Fukui Prefecture and hit Mt. Ibuki. Recently, the neighboring city of Hikone also recorded its heaviest snowfall in 60 years. Being an unexpected sight in Shiga Prefecture, I designed this poster to make people wonder, "Which mountain is it?" I designed this poster to make you wonder "Which mountain is it?

OITA ASIA SCULPTURE EXHIBITION

大分アジア彫刻展公募の公式ポスターを担当しました。大分の頭文字OとアジアのAをモチーフに、現代彫刻作品を思わせるようなデザインとしました。大分の向こうにアジアを見据えるイメージでAを向こう側に配置し、また、賞の頂点を金色のAで表しています。 I designed the official poster for the Oita Asia Sculpture Exhibition open call. Using the initials O for Oita and A for Asia as motifs, I created a design reminiscent of contemporary sculpture. The letter A is positioned toward the horizon, symbolizing the vision of Asia beyond Oita, while the golden A represents the pinnacle of the awards. 我负责设计了大分亚洲雕塑展公开征集活动的官方海报。以大分首字母O和亚洲首字母A为设计元素，打造出令人联想到现代雕塑作品的视觉效果。将A字母置于远方，象征着从大分眺望亚洲的意境，同时以金色A字母代表奖项的巅峰。

den-en kitchen ロゴデザイン。おうみ福祉会の新施設、きみいろ内に併設されたden-en kitchen(田園キッチン)のロゴデザインを担当しました。田んぼの田を両手で抱き抱えるような暖かさを感じさせるデザインです。のどかな田園風景に溶け込むカフェは、どなたでもご利用頂けます。Logo design for den-en kitchen.We designed the logo for den-en kitchen (Den-en kitchen), which is located in Kimiiro, a new facility of Ohmi Fukushi Kai.The design evokes a warm feeling of embracing the rice paddies with both hands. The café blends into the peaceful countryside and is open to everyone.
