Sustainable Architecture Book Design

装丁デザインに際し、本書のタイトルはすでに「サステイナブル建築」と決まっており、クライアント（著者）の希望はグリーンの表紙のイメージというものでした。サステイナブル建築とはいかなるものだろうかというところを出発点とし思索をめぐらせました。私自身のサステイナブル建築のイメージとしては自然発生的に点在する集落のようなものでした。一つ一つの個はそれぞれ個性を持ち、それらは留まることなく動的に変化し更新されつづけるが、全体としての調和は決して崩れないような強さのあるつながり。そのようなイメージでした。そのような関係性はマクロな宇宙の組成から、ミクロの細胞、原子の配列まで通じるものではないでしょうか。圧縮力と張力のインタラクティブなバランスで全てのものは成立している。そのようなメッセージを込めた装丁デザインとしました。 When designing the book's cover, the title had already been decided as "Sustainable Architecture," and the client (author) requested a green cover image. I began by contemplating what sustainable architecture truly is. My own image of sustainable architecture was like a collection of settlements scattered spontaneously. Each individual has its own personality, and they are constantly changing and being renewed, but the overall harmony is strong enough to never break down. That was the image I had. I believe such relationships extend from the composition of the macroscopic universe to the arrangement of cells and atoms at the microscopic level. Everything is based on an interactive balance of compression and tension. I designed the cover to convey this message.

本之木餅は菓匠禄兵衛における長年ベストセラー商品です。そのリニューアルデザインを担当しました。今までの商品同様赤をベースに金との組み合わせは変えませんが、箱の型に抜きを使うことで立体感ある仕上がりに、印刷にもツヤニスを多様することで光の当たり方で浮かび上がる深みのある演出としました。今までの印象を損なわず、さらに表現を進化させたデザインとしています。お菓子は、ふっくらと炊き上げた粒あんを、餅粉入りのもっちり生地で包み、焼き上げたものです。８個入りと５個入りがあります。 Motonoki Mochi has been a best-selling product of Kasho Rokubei for many years. We were in charge of its renewal design. The red base color is the same as the previous products, and the combination of gold and gold is the same, but the box is die-cut to give it a three-dimensional finish, and a variety of glossy varnishes are used in the printing to create a deep effect that comes to life when the light hits it. The design has evolved further in expression without losing the impression of the past. The confectionery is made by wrapping softly cooked sweet bean paste in mochi dough and baking it. 8 pieces and 5 pieces are available.  Motonoki mochi （红豆沙馅麻糬）多年来一直是 Kasho Rokubei 的畅销产品。我们负责其更新设计。与以前的产品一样，金色和红色底色的组合保持不变，但在包装盒上使用了模切模具，使其具有立体感，印刷时使用了亮光漆，产生了深邃的效果，在光线照射下栩栩如生。设计在表现形式上有了进一步的发展，但又不失过去的印象。这种点心是用煮软的甜豆沙，裹上麻糬粉烘烤而成。

これは、鹿児島県産、宮崎県産、愛知県一色産などの国内産のうなぎを使用したうなぎの蒲焼オイル漬けです。鮎のオイル漬けの兄弟商品となりますが、より高価であるため高級感を増す装飾を施したデザインとしています。常温で3年間保存できるため、食べたい時にそのままでも、またはトースターなどで軽く焼くと、さらにおいしく召し上がれます。 This is an oil-pickled eel made from domestically produced eels such as those from Kagoshima, Miyazaki, and Isshiki in Aichi Prefecture. It is a sibling product of oil-pickled ayu fish, but since it is more expensive, it is designed with decorations that add a sense of luxury. It can be stored at room temperature for three years, so it can be enjoyed as is when you want to eat it, or lightly grilled in a toaster for an even better taste. 这是一种油腌鳗鱼，由爱知县鹿儿岛、宫崎和伊势的家养鳗鱼制成。它是油腌香鱼的同类产品，但由于价格较高，因此在设计上采用了装饰性设计，增加了豪华感。它可以在室温下保存三年，所以想吃的时候可以直接享用，或者用烤面包机轻轻烤一下，味道会更好。

FLOCKは群を意味します。信楽焼の陶器で作られた箸置きやブローチなどのブランディングデザインとネーミングです。商品数がとても多く、動物や植物など生物が多くを占めているので群と名付けました。FLOCK means flock. It is a branding design and naming of chopstick rests and brooches made of Shigaraki ware pottery. We named it "Flock" because there are so many products and many of them are creatures such as animals and plants.

あゆ塩焼き

木村水産のあゆ塩焼きのパッケージデザインです。個包装で国内最高の養殖鮎としてふさわしい高級感を高めるデザインとしました。冷凍商品のため、外側は銀印刷でシャープにして冷感のあるデザイン、中は一転、赤を施し、冷凍ケースの中にあっても、火入れし、焼きたてのように美味しそうに見えることを狙いました。 This is the package design of Ayu Salt Grilled Ayu. The individually wrapped ayu fish is designed to enhance the sense of quality as the best farmed ayu fish in Japan. Because it is a frozen product, the outside is sharply designed with silver printing to give it a cool feel, while the inside is painted red to make it look as if it has been fire-roasted and freshly grilled, even though it is inside a frozen case. 阿尤盐焗阿尤鱼包装设计。该设计增强了国内最好的养殖鲶鱼在独立包装中的奢华感。由于是冷冻产品，外包装采用银色印刷，锋利而冰冷，内包装则采用红色印刷，目的是使产品即使在冷冻箱中，看起来也像经过火烤和新鲜烧烤一样美味。

nasowはnatural soft woodの略でゴム素材と木屑、貝殻、様々な廃材を練りこんだ新素材です。リブランディングとプロダクトデザインを担当しました。独特の弾力のある素材の良さを引き出したデザインです。nasow stands for "natural soft wood," a new material made of rubber, wood chips, seashells, and various scrap wood. We rebranded and designed the product. The design brings out the best of the unique elasticity of the material.

あゆ雑炊のパッケージデザインです。あゆのひらきを使い、レンジアップご飯で手間要らずで簡単に雑炊が作れるように開発されました。鉄鍋に木の蓋をデザインモチーフとし、レトルトご飯と、だし汁を隙間なくホールド可能なパッケージに逆台形型の箱としました。一枚のシートから立体になるデザインです。青い紙に金印刷でローコストに制作しました。 This is the package design of Ayu Porridge. It was developed to make Zosui (rice porridge) easily and hassle-free with microwaved rice using Ayu flounder. The design motif is an iron pot with a wooden lid, and the package is an inverted trapezoid-shaped box that can hold retort rice and the broth without gaps. The design is three-dimensional from a single sheet. Gold printing on blue paper was used for low-cost production. 鲶鱼粥包装设计。它的开发目的是让人们能够使用鲶鱼比目鱼用微波炉简单方便地煮粥。设计图案是铁锅上的木盖、甑饭和一个倒梯形盒子，用于盛放无缝隙肉汤的包装。该设计是由单张板材制作而成的三维作品。它是用蓝色纸张上的金色印刷以低成本制作的。

Hikizuri Bell Manjyu

三井寺の有名な饅頭です。その昔弁慶がひきづったとされる鐘がモチーフになっています。一つの箱で何種類もの中身に対応できるようパッケージシステムを考えました。わかりやすいように封印のシールで中身も伝えています。It is a famous bun of Mitsui Temple. The motif is a bell said to have been pulled by Benkei in the old days. We designed the packaging system so that a single box can be used for several kinds of contents. The contents are also indicated with a seal for easy identification.

「和た与」のういろ餅のパッケージリニューアルです。こちらのういろは、米粉を使用していることから米の形をあしらっています。包装紙を開くとわかるようなデザインです。一つは抹茶と白、もう一つは黒糖をあらわし、中身を表現したものです。This is a package renewal of Uiro rice cake of "Wata-yo". This Uiro is decorated with the shape of rice because it is made of rice flour. The design can be recognized by opening the wrapping paper. One is a matcha green tea and white, and the other is brown sugar, representing the contents of the rice cake.

Root Cowaorking

78は米焼酎です。78のステンレスコップにデザインを合わせた焼酎です。78 is a rice shochu; the design of this shochu matches the stainless steel cup of 78.
