Re think Creative Contest 2024

220は特殊な触媒を用いて飲料の味を変化させる魔法のマドラーです。数秒かき混ぜるだけでワインが熟成されたような味になります。プロダクトデザインは秋田道夫氏、ブランディングを弊社が担当しました。220 is a magic muddler that uses a special catalyst to change the taste of beverages. Just a few seconds of stirring is all it takes to make wine taste like it has been aged. Product design was done by Michio Akita and branding by our company.

2025年6月〜2026年2月まで、大津北商工会にて、全10回のスクール形式で新商品開発、既存商品ブラッシュアップの講師を勤めることになりました。 事業者における新商品開発の際も、全てが決まってから「最後に外注するものが　デザイン」ではなく、 リサーチから、今企業内にあるリソースを最大限に活かしながら、誰に向けて何を作るのか、サービスを考えることから、商品開発、売り場のデザインまで、その全てが「デザイン」であります。 ものづくりの事業者にとって、デザインは遠いものではなく、 それらの仕事の多くは実は「デザイン」です。 このスクールでは、事業者自身が自律的に考え、商品開発し、デザインができるように、私の力でどこまでできるかわかりませんがやることになりました。 I will be teaching a 10-session school-style course on new product development and product refining for existing products. 陶芸家　小川顕三氏と小川記一氏のブランドディレクションを担当しました。 陶芸家のお二人に対し、まず、作品から印象を得た二色のコンセプトカラーを設定しました。 その二色を、名刺から、リーフレット、ホームページに至るまで、対比的に使用することで、お互いを引き立てあうように計画しました。

最高級吉野杉を用いたランチョンボードです。お盆ではなく、縁がないもので手入れが簡単かつ、上質感のあるものを目指しました。直接食材を載せることも可能です。持ちやすいように周囲は薄く削っています。This luncheon board is made of the finest Yoshino cedar. It is not a tray, but rather a rimless one that is easy to clean and has a high quality feel. It is also possible to place food directly on it. The perimeter has been thinly shaved so that it is easy to hold.

日本最高積雪記録はどこでしょう？意外にも関西、滋賀県の米原市にある伊吹山です。その記録は11m82cmと実は世界一の記録でもあります。 実際に滋賀県北部に住んでいると、冬は北風がとても強いです。福井県の若狭湾からの雪雲を遮る山が低く、伊吹山にぶち当たるということです。 最近、隣の彦根市でも60年ぶりの大雪を記録しました。滋賀県の意外な姿ということで「どこの山だろう？」と気になるポスターをデザインしました。 Where is the record for the highest snowfall in Japan? Surprisingly, it is Mt. Ibuki in Maibara City, Shiga Prefecture, Kansai. Its record is 11m82cm, which is actually the highest record in the world. In fact, living in the northern part of Shiga Prefecture, the north wind is very strong in winter. This means that the mountains are low enough to block the snow clouds from Wakasa Bay in Fukui Prefecture and hit Mt. Ibuki. Recently, the neighboring city of Hikone also recorded its heaviest snowfall in 60 years. Being an unexpected sight in Shiga Prefecture, I designed this poster to make people wonder, "Which mountain is it?" I designed this poster to make you wonder "Which mountain is it?

シンプルでオーソドックスなデザインを心がけてデザインしました。 とても軽く、使いやすく、あまり緊張しすぎない、しかしそこまでカジュアルでもない。 runoの丸く柔らかいデザインと対照的に、tachiは、凛とした佇まいを持ったデザインです。（写真の後半はrunoとの比較です） 非常に軽く出来ています。 斜め上からはあまり裏側が見えませんが、裏側の削り込みにより手がすっと入り、大変持ちやすくデザインされています。 山中塗とは、石川県加賀市の山中温泉地区で作られる漆器で、山中漆器と呼ばれます。国産のミズメ桜を轆轤挽きで仕上げ、拭き漆技法で仕上げました。 We designed this product with a simple and orthodox design in mind. It is very light, easy to use, not too strained, but not that casual either. In contrast to the round and soft design of runo, tachi has a dignified appearance. (The second half of the photo is a comparison with runo.) It is made very light. Although you cannot see the back side of the bowl from an angle, the back side has been cut down so that you can easily put your hand into the bowl, making it very easy to hold. Yamanaka-nuri is a type of lacquerware produced in the Yamanaka Onsen area of Kaga City, Ishikawa Prefecture, and is called Yamanaka lacquerware. The potter's wheel is made of domestically produced mizume-zakura (cherry tree) and finished with the wipe lacquer technique.

Rethink Creative Contestで優秀賞と地域PR賞を受賞しました。 このコンテストは身近な地域の魅力に注目し、発信するコンテストです。 「親か子か」優秀賞 丸亀市発祥の骨付鳥は、うどんに次ぐ香川のソウルフードです。親鳥か、若鳥のどっちが美味しいか？どっちが好きか？これはなかなか答えの出ない問題であり、どちらも、良いところがあって、どちらも美味しい。そんな論争が絶えない丸亀市は幸せです。 親鳥なんて売ってない県が多いですからね。 “Parents or children?” Honetsukitori, which originated in Marugame City, is Kagawa's soul food, second only to udon. There are many prefectures where parent birds are not sold. 「レイクグラスを探してください」地域PR賞 日本一の湖、琵琶湖は海のように波が立ちます。もともとはゴミだったガラス瓶が長い年月をかけて、丸く削られて美しい石のようになります。これをシーグラスならぬ、レイクグラスと呼びます。 レイクグラスを琵琶湖の湖岸で探してください。簡単には見つかりません。すぐに見つかるのは釣り糸や、プラスチックゴミばかり。でも、このレイクグラス探しをきっかけに、琵琶湖を大切に思ってくれたら良いなと思いました。 ゴミ拾い、環境美化、SDGs。そういうのではなく、 琵琶湖で純粋に、宝探しを楽しんでください。 琵琶湖に足を伸ばしてください。 “Look for Lake Grass.” Lake Biwa, the largest lake in Japan, has waves like the ocean. Over many years, glass bottles, which were originally trash, are carved into beautiful shapes that resemble beautiful stones. This is called lake glass, not sea glass. Look for Lake Grass on the shores of Lake Biwa. Not easy to find. All you can easily find are fishing lines and plastic trash. However, I hope that this search for lake glass will help people start to value Lake Biwa. Picking up trash, beautifying the environment, SDGs. Not that, but Please enjoy treasure hunting in Lake Biwa. Please stretch your legs to Lake Biwa.

これはHOP VISAカードリニューアル指名コンペでの案です。滋賀の美しい緑、田園風景を水彩画を用いて表現したものです。手描きの四角い不均一なマス目が重なったりにじんだりして、一つの自然を形成しているようなイメージです。このようなおおらかさこそが滋賀のイメージであり、今までの緑のvisaカードのイメージも踏襲しながら、若々しく優しい、滋賀と、平和堂の空気感を表現できていると思います。This is a watercolor rendering of the beautiful green, rural landscape of Shiga. The image is of hand-painted squares of uneven squares overlapping and blurring to form a single natural feature. This kind of generosity is the image of Shiga, and I think it expresses the youthful and gentle atmosphere of Shiga and Heiwado, while also following the image of the existing green visa cards.
