PIZZLY BEARS

地球温暖化の影響で、北極の氷は溶け、ホッキョクグマは住む場所を失い始めています。この木馬ではホッキョクグマが、その溶けて割れてしまった氷をたどたどしい足付きで歩いてゆく姿を現しています。この木馬は、自分の娘のために作ったものです。売っているものを買って与えるより、せっかくだから、私のデザインしたものをあげたいとの思いからです。私の父も、いろいろなものを作ってくれたものでした。それが、やはり私の中では印象が大きいのです。この木馬は発表するや、世界中のデザインや環境系ブログを駆け巡りました。その中には、カナダの北極の科学者から娘に買いたいとの連絡までありました。これには驚きましたが、あいにくその時は商品化できていませんでした。そして、2年くらい経ったある時、商品化したいと言ってくれる香港のブランドが現われたのです。発表から3年の時を経てようやくHUZI DESIGNより商品化されました。

Pizza Shigaraki

シンプルなスツールです。座面はヌメ革、足はホワイトアッシュ材のソープ仕上げ。使うほどに愛着が湧いてきそうな飽きのこないデザインです。This is a simple stool. The seat is made of nume leather and the legs are made of white ash wood with a soap finish. The more you use it, the more you will grow attached to it, and you will never get tired of its design.

NAGAHAMA GOEN DEAPARTMENT STORE

長浜ごえん百貨店のロゴデザインと企画です。長浜のいいものを集めて日本橋のここしがで催事をしました。5円玉を落として良いことが起きるご縁くださいボックスも作成しました。 Logo design and planning for Nagahama Goen Department Store. We also created a box in which you can drop a 5-yen coin and something good will happen to you. 为 Nagahama Goen 百货公司设计和规划徽标。我们还制作了一个盒子，投下一枚五元硬币，就会有好事发生。

DRWERS OF PAST,PRESENT,FUTURE

引出しにはそれぞれ、過去の引き出し、現在の引き出し、未来の引き出しと名前が付けられています。それぞれ過去、現在、未来をイメージした特徴の異なった三枚の陶板で前板が作られています。陶板は信楽焼で手作りによって作られています。引き出しを開けるとそこには、past, present, futureの文字が刻まれています。陶板の引き出しは、何か特別な印象を引き出しにもたらします。この引き出しをどのように使うかは使用者に委ねられていますが、人にはみなそれぞれの、現在、過去、未来があります。何か大切なものや情報を入れたりする特別な箱になることを願っています。

Hikizuri Bell Manjyu

三井寺の有名な饅頭です。その昔弁慶がひきづったとされる鐘がモチーフになっています。一つの箱で何種類もの中身に対応できるようパッケージシステムを考えました。わかりやすいように封印のシールで中身も伝えています。It is a famous bun of Mitsui Temple. The motif is a bell said to have been pulled by Benkei in the old days. We designed the packaging system so that a single box can be used for several kinds of contents. The contents are also indicated with a seal for easy identification.

OITA HOVERCRAFT

このホーバークラフトは、ボディの前面のボンネットに搭乗口があり、大きなボリューム感がありますが、このラッピングデザインで最も重要なのは、その部分の活かし方であると考えました。遠くからでも目につきやすくキラリと光る印象を与えたいと思い、宇宙、海、空、大地、大分の自然をイメージさせるカラフルなストライプをキーデザインとして、このボンネットから全体に流すように配置しました。ストライプは進行方向に流れるようなデザインで、海上で走っている姿が美しいものになることを考えました。宇宙や自然へとつながる未来感のあるデザインとしています。This hovercraft has a boarding gate on the front hood of the body, giving it a large volume, and we thought the most important aspect of this wrapping design was how to make the most of this area. We wanted to create an impression that would be easily noticeable from afar and would shine brightly, so we used colorful stripes that evoke space, the sea, the sky, the earth, and Oita's natural environment as the key design, and arranged them to flow from this hood to the entire area. The stripes are designed to flow in the direction of travel, and we thought it would be beautiful to see it running at sea. The design has a futuristic feel that leads to space and nature.

NISHITANIDO MISO STEW

京都の老舗西谷堂の京都野菜の味噌煮込みのパッケージデザインです。シルバーのパウチでは味気ないので味噌桶に漬かった中身が一目でわかるパッケージとしました。白味噌と赤味噌があります。This is the package design for Nishitanido's Kyoto vegetable miso stew. A silver pouch would be bland, so we designed a package that allows you to see at a glance what's inside the miso tub. There are white miso and red miso.

香川県の庵治石を使った屋外照明器具のデザインです。光が当たる下の部分は荒い仕上げにしています。天板に座ることも可能ですがそこは柔らかく膨らんでおり鏡面仕上げになっております。光が美しいグラデーションで浮かび上がります。This is a design for an outdoor lighting fixture using Aji stone from Kagawa Prefecture. The lower part where the light hits the stone has a rough finish. It is possible to sit on the top panel, which is softly bulged and has a mirror finish. The light emerges in a beautiful gradation.

Miso soup with Seta shijimi

琵琶湖のセタシジミを使ったインスタントの味噌汁です。しじみの殻をデザインとして使いました。高級なしじみなので金色にしています。This instant miso soup is made with Lake Biwa's seta shijimi clam. We used the shells of shijimi clam as a design. The color is gold because of the high quality shijimi clam.

KOKA Cardboard Box

滋賀県甲賀市の段ボールのデザインです。甲賀市の市章の２色を使用し、忍者テーマで手裏剣のモノグラムを配置し、市章デザインもあしらっています。ふるさと納税返礼品を送るのに使用されたりしています。This is a cardboard design for Koka City, Shiga Prefecture. It uses the two colors of the Koka city emblem, and has a ninja theme with a shuriken monogram and the city emblem design. It is sometimes used to send tax returns from hometowns.
