11月25日の日経産業新聞19項のコラム「デザインNOW」にyutanpoをご掲載いただきました。 デザイン批評家の柏木博先生による寄稿です。 デザインは全く新しいものを生みだす方法と、今まであったものをリデザインすることで新しい価値を与える二種類の方法があります。 その際に多く用いられ、最も説得力のあるものは、ミニマルなモダニズムであるという事です。 秋田先生にセラミック・ジャパンをご紹介いただいて考えたのがこのyutanpoでした。 バウハウスから、ディーターラムスまで、まさに、秋田先生の影響を強く受けた結果として、デザインしたyutannpo。 その脈絡をデザインから感じて頂けた記事というのがとても感慨深く思います。

TOWER 805主催の第一回クリエイティブサロン江口海里さんと福嶋賢二さんと私とで関西プロダクトデザイン３者対談イベントをしました。The first Creative Salon organized by TOWER 805, Kairi Eguchi, Kenji Fukushima and myself held a three-way discussion event on Kansai product design.

パッケージデザインに興味のある方、パッケージデザインを志す学生や初学者を対象に、国内外のすぐれたパッケージデザインをおよそ150点ほど厳選して集めて解説した「デザイン見本帳」です。私のデザインしたチョンマゲ羊羹が掲載されました。This book is a "design sample book" that carefully selects and explains about 150 excellent domestic and international package designs for those who are interested in package design, students and beginners who want to learn package design. My design for Chongmage Yokan was featured in the book.

TASHENのTHE PACKAGE DESIGN BOOK 4に、Pizza Shigarakiが掲載されました。Pizza Shigaraki was featured in THE PACKAGE DESIGN BOOK 4 by TASHEN.

「PACKAGING―機能と笑い」は文字通りパッケージという営みを、異なる二つの視点から見つめ直す試みです。 「機能」では、古典的な素材でありながら、テクノロジーや印刷加工技術の進展によって大きく変化している紙の近未来に目を向けます。「笑い」では、パッケージの魅力に情緒の観点から迫ります。素朴で飾らない、それでいて引き込まれる容器や包装の力には、誰もが覚えがあるはずです。今回はキュレーターとして迎えた梅原真氏に展示物の選定を一任し、一定の価値観で笑いを探求する「篩の目」になっていただきました。「笑い」カテゴリーに私たちの作品が展示されます。PACKAGING - FUNCTION AND LAUGHTER" is literally an attempt to rethink the activity of packaging from two different perspectives. In "Function," we look at the near future of paper, a classic material that has undergone significant changes due to advances in technology and printing and processing techniques. In the "Laughter" section, we will explore the appeal of packaging from an emotional point of view. We all remember the power of simple, unadorned, yet compelling containers and packaging. For this exhibition, we have entrusted the selection of exhibits to Makoto Umehara, whom we have invited as curator, and asked him to be the "sifting eye" that explores laughter with a certain sense of value.Our work will be exhibited in the "Laughter" category.

パイインターナショナルの『親切な商品案内デザイン』に78mmのリーフレットが掲載されました。78mm leaflet was featured in "Kind Product Guide Design" by PIE International.

Marie Claire Enfants （イタリア）2013年4月号にTSUCHINOCOが掲載されました。TSUCHINOCO is featured in the April 2013 issue of Marie Claire Enfants(ITALY).

東京ミッドタウンの主催する一年の半分を祝うイベントMID DAYのポストカードをデザインし展示会に出展しました。デザインコンペ審査員を含むトップクリエイターやこれまでのデザインコンペ受賞者15組がデザインした「半賀状」を展示・配布しました。Postcards for MID DAY, an event celebrating half of the year organized by Tokyo Midtown, were designed and exhibited at the exhibition. We exhibited and distributed "half-year cards" designed by top creators including design competition judges and 15 groups of previous design competition winners.

JUST KIDDINGにHUZIのPizzly bearsが掲載されました。HUZI's Pizzly bears were featured in JUST KIDDING.

『WRAP IT UP』に3作品掲載されました。Three works were published in WRAP IT UP.
