TOYAMA DESIGN FAIR 2024　GRAND PRIX AWARD

この１０年にわたる高松市の尽力により高松市屋島地区が、全国の優れた都市景観の事例を表彰する「都市景観大賞」で、大賞の国土交通大臣賞に選ばれました。私は、その一部ですが、山頂の各店舗に統一的な暖簾、日除け幕を設置し、販売用の手ぬぐいなどを制作しました。それらは伝統工芸「讃岐のり染め」の大川原染色本舗さんに制作いただいたものです。Thanks to the efforts of Takamatsu City over the past 10 years, the Yashima area of Takamatsu City was selected for the grand prize, the Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism Award, in the Urban Landscape Awards, which recognize examples of outstanding urban landscapes from across Japan. I installed uniform noren (curtains) and sunshade curtains at each store on the summit, and produced tenugui (hand towels) for sales. These were produced by Okawahara Dyeing Honpo, a traditional craftsman of "Sanuki Nori Dyeing.

2019年3月　滋賀大学主催、滋賀の観光イノベーション研究会において、近江戦国デザイン論を発表しました。March 2019 Omi Warring States Design Theory presented at the Shiga University-sponsored Shiga Tourism Innovation Study Group.

東京ミッドタウンの主催する一年の半分を祝うイベントMID DAYのポストカードをデザインし展示会に出展しました。デザインコンペ審査員を含むトップクリエイターやこれまでのデザインコンペ受賞者15組がデザインした「半賀状」を展示・配布しました。Postcards for MID DAY, an event celebrating half of the year organized by Tokyo Midtown, were designed and exhibited at the exhibition. We exhibited and distributed "half-year cards" designed by top creators including design competition judges and 15 groups of previous design competition winners.

端午の節句にちなんで、色とりどりのこいのぼり約100匹がミッドタウン・ガーデンに登場します。落合陽一氏、藤代範雄氏、張 浦華氏ら、国内外のクリエイターが手がけた個性あふれるデザインのこいのぼりが新緑のなかを悠々と泳ぎ、子どもたちの健やかな成長を祝います。 In honor of Dragon Boat Festival, approximately 100 colorful carp streamers will appear in Midtown Garden. The unique designs by Yoichi Ochiai, Norio Fujishiro, Pohua Zhang, and other creators from Japan and abroad will swim in the fresh greenery to celebrate the healthy growth of children. 为庆祝男孩节，中城花园将出现约 100 条彩色鲤鱼旗。 落合阳一、藤四郎纪男、张宝华等国内外创作者的独特设计将在新绿中游弋，庆祝儿童的健康成长。 【期間】 2024年4月19日(金) ～ 5月6日(月・振休) ※荒天中止 【場所】 ミッドタウン・ガーデン 【主催】 東京ミッドタウン

PACKAGING MATERIALS（sandu publishing）にチョンマゲ羊羹が掲載されました。様々なパッケージの素材をテーマに編集された本です。PACKAGING MATERIALS (sandu publishing) has published Chonmage Yokan. The book is edited on the theme of various packaging materials.

『NEW FORK ART』にKABUKIKIDSが掲載されました。KABUKIKIDS was featured in "NEW FORK ART".

7月4〜6日に東京ビッグサイトで開催されました、第４回ベビー&キッズEXPOに出展しました。 日本ロジパック株式会社の強化段ボールを使った子供用品・家具ブランド「つちのこ」を発表しました。 Masahiro Minami Designは「つちのこ」ブランドディレクションの全てを統括しました。 www.tsuchinoco-kids.com

HCJ　ホテルレストランショーに艸方窯が出展しました。ブースデザインを担当しました。

11月25日の日経産業新聞19項のコラム「デザインNOW」にyutanpoをご掲載いただきました。 デザイン批評家の柏木博先生による寄稿です。 デザインは全く新しいものを生みだす方法と、今まであったものをリデザインすることで新しい価値を与える二種類の方法があります。 その際に多く用いられ、最も説得力のあるものは、ミニマルなモダニズムであるという事です。 秋田先生にセラミック・ジャパンをご紹介いただいて考えたのがこのyutanpoでした。 バウハウスから、ディーターラムスまで、まさに、秋田先生の影響を強く受けた結果として、デザインしたyutannpo。 その脈絡をデザインから感じて頂けた記事というのがとても感慨深く思います。

「PACKAGING―機能と笑い」は文字通りパッケージという営みを、異なる二つの視点から見つめ直す試みです。 「機能」では、古典的な素材でありながら、テクノロジーや印刷加工技術の進展によって大きく変化している紙の近未来に目を向けます。「笑い」では、パッケージの魅力に情緒の観点から迫ります。素朴で飾らない、それでいて引き込まれる容器や包装の力には、誰もが覚えがあるはずです。今回はキュレーターとして迎えた梅原真氏に展示物の選定を一任し、一定の価値観で笑いを探求する「篩の目」になっていただきました。「笑い」カテゴリーに私たちの作品が展示されます。PACKAGING - FUNCTION AND LAUGHTER" is literally an attempt to rethink the activity of packaging from two different perspectives. In "Function," we look at the near future of paper, a classic material that has undergone significant changes due to advances in technology and printing and processing techniques. In the "Laughter" section, we will explore the appeal of packaging from an emotional point of view. We all remember the power of simple, unadorned, yet compelling containers and packaging. For this exhibition, we have entrusted the selection of exhibits to Makoto Umehara, whom we have invited as curator, and asked him to be the "sifting eye" that explores laughter with a certain sense of value.Our work will be exhibited in the "Laughter" category.
