220は特殊な触媒を用いて飲料の味を変化させる魔法のマドラーです。数秒かき混ぜるだけでワインが熟成されたような味になります。プロダクトデザインは秋田道夫氏、ブランディングを弊社が担当しました。220 is a magic muddler that uses a special catalyst to change the taste of beverages. Just a few seconds of stirring is all it takes to make wine taste like it has been aged. Product design was done by Michio Akita and branding by our company.

琵琶湖のレイクグラスを展示するミュージアムとして、米原駅の構内にあるびわこ一周レンタサイクルに設置しました。自転車でビワイチをしながら琵琶湖に立ち寄ってもらいレイクグラスを探してほしい。そして持ち帰ってきたものを展示できるスペースです。This museum displays Lake Biwa lake glass and is located on the Biwako round-the-bike rental bicycle located in the premises of Maibara Station. We want people to stop by Lake Biwa while doing the Biwaichi by bicycle and look for lake glass. This is a space where they can then display the items they bring back.

富山デザインフェア2024のポスターデザインコンペにおいて大賞を受賞しました。 コンセプトは「富山デザインふんばり！」 能登の震災で被害を受けた富山でもありますが、ここがふんばり所だと思います。 踏ん張ってバーベルを持ち上げる、その姿は富山の「富」の姿であります。 富の背景は立山連山の山を模し、紅潮して顔を赤く染め頑張っている姿を表現しています。 強靭そうな富山ブラックの踏ん張りに期待します。 Toyama Design Fair 2024 Poster Design Competition Grand Prize Winner The concept was “Toyama Design Fumbari! Toyama was damaged by the Noto earthquake, but I think this is the place to be. The figure of a man standing on his feet and lifting a barbell is the image of Toyama's “wealth”. The background of the “Tomi” is a mountain range in the Tateyama Mountain Range, and the image of a man working hard with his face reddening in the face of the earthquake is represented. 日本は、安価な輸入材に頼ってきたので、日本中に植えられた杉の森は放置され、林業の衰退と森の荒廃が進んでいます。 日本の杉を使う事で、日本の森は元気になります。 これは、そのような杉材を用いた家具デザインの提案です。 杉の柔らかく、あたたかな質感をソファの背もたれに活かしました。 デザイン的にも暖かみのある木の質感を引き出すため、ぽってりした黒いカタマリとコントラストを活かしたデザインとしました。   杉の活用ということで、杉ばかりで家具を作る事を考えてしましますが、ここでは、杉を象徴的に用いています。 黒く重たいものに対して、軽やかな杉を対比させて見せています。 ふわっと柔らかい造形とすることで、シャープな黒とのコントラストを強調しています。 人の手の触れる部分に杉を積極的に用い、温かみある杉を触ってもらいたいと意図しました。

今年で８回目を迎える滋賀県高島市の「ええもの」を集めたコンテスト「高島ええものグランプリ」のリニューアルブランディングに関わりました。 受賞者は「センスがええ」ということで、トロフィー代わりに高島扇子が贈呈されました。 最高金賞に選ばれたのは、とも栄さんの「ふなずしxベイクド羊羹」の”ふなチー”です。 滋賀の人って、本当に鮒寿司を美味しくすることに執念を燃やしています！これが鮒寿司なの？っていうくらい美味しいもの沢山あります。これも、チーズ不使用なのに濃厚チーズケーキそのもので、審査員絶賛でした。 他にも金賞の発酵ドルチェ米シュワグルトも鮒寿司を作る際の飯から作られたヨーグルトです。 その他の金賞には、和ろうそくの大與さんは有名ですが、高島発アウトドアブランドの業界最小クラスの焚火台や、琵琶湖の宝石と呼ばれるビワマスひつまぶし、メタセコイアのブラウニーケーキなど、ユニークな商品が揃いました。 審査委員長も近年稀に見るハイレベルとおっしゃっていました。 We were involved in the renewal branding of the contest that featured "ehimono" (good things) from Takashima City, Shiga Prefecture, which is now in its 8th year. The café blends into the peaceful countryside and is open to everyone.

近江牛専門店万葉のパッケージデザインを担当しました。 近江牛は日本三大和牛の一つ。日本でも最高の品質の牛肉です。 万葉というお店の名前から万葉集を思いました。 万葉集は、7世紀後半から8世紀後半にかけて編纂された、現存するわが国最古の歌集です。 精肉会社が経営する専門店であり、お肉作りの思いをお客さんに伝えてゆくのに「本」の形が思い浮かび万葉集とつながりました。 和綴と呼ばれる日本の伝統的なの本の綴じ方を模したパッケージに包まれたお肉。本を開ける高揚感と高級感のあるパッケージになっています。 紙にはエンボスの加工で布製本のような表現としました。ゴムとメタルシールでパッケージを封印しています。 最高級のお肉にふさわしいデザインとしました。 We were in charge of package design for the Omi beef specialty restaurant Manyo. Omi beef is one of Japan's three major beef varieties. It is the highest quality beef in Japan. The name of the restaurant, Manyo, made me think of the Manyoshu (The Anthology of Myriad Leaves). The Manyoshu is the oldest existing collection of poetry in Japan, compiled from the late 7th to the late 8th century. As a specialty store run by a meat company, the shape of a "book" came to mind for conveying the concept of meat production to customers, which led me to Manyoshu. The meat is wrapped in a package that resembles the traditional Japanese book binding method called Watoji.The package has an exuberant and luxurious feel of opening a book. The paper is embossed to give it the appearance of a cloth-bound book. The package is sealed with rubber and metal seals. The design was appropriate for top quality meat. The package is designed to be opened with a sense of exhilaration and luxury.
