端午の節句にちなんで、色とりどりのこいのぼり約100匹がミッドタウン・ガーデンに登場します。落合陽一氏、藤代範雄氏、張 浦華氏ら、国内外のクリエイターが手がけた個性あふれるデザインのこいのぼりが新緑のなかを悠々と泳ぎ、子どもたちの健やかな成長を祝います。
In honor of Dragon Boat Festival, approximately 100 colorful carp streamers will appear in Midtown Garden. The unique designs by Yoichi Ochiai, Norio Fujishiro, Pohua Zhang, and other creators from Japan and abroad will swim in the fresh greenery to celebrate the healthy growth of children.
为庆祝男孩节，中城花园将出现约 100 条彩色鲤鱼旗。 落合阳一、藤四郎纪男、张宝华等国内外创作者的独特设计将在新绿中游弋，庆祝儿童的健康成长。

神戸のKIITOで開催されました、100人の日用品展に出展させていただきました。私が選んだのはコーヒーのポットと貫入のある信楽焼のコップです。I exhibited at the 100 Daily Necessities Exhibition held at KIITO in Kobe. I chose a coffee pot and a Shigaraki-ware cup with a pierced hole.

11月25日の日経産業新聞19項のコラム「デザインNOW」にyutanpoをご掲載いただきました。
デザイン批評家の柏木博先生による寄稿です。
デザインは全く新しいものを生みだす方法と、今まであったものをリデザインすることで新しい価値を与える二種類の方法があります。
その際に多く用いられ、最も説得力のあるものは、ミニマルなモダニズムであるという事です。
秋田先生にセラミック・ジャパンをご紹介いただいて考えたのがこのyutanpoでした。
バウハウスから、ディーターラムスまで、まさに、秋田先生の影響を強く受けた結果として、デザインしたyutannpo。
その脈絡をデザインから感じて頂けた記事というのがとても感慨深く思います。
