A friend of mine from college started his career as a woodworker when he was over 40.
After graduating from Agematsu Technical College, he became an independent woodworker and set up his own workshop in Gokasho, Shiga Prefecture.
I designed the logo for him.

He is inspired by the tip of a chisel, since he was told that chisels are his favorite of tools.
It also looks like a warm house wrapped in thick insulation.
His wife is also in the construction business. That is also the meaning.

The logo of “Matsumoto Yuki  Furniture” was selected for ASIA PASIPIC DESIGN No.17.

It is a very difficult task to be included in this book, which features only the best designs from all over Asia.
