The four former IKA County towns were merged into Shiga Prefecture’s Nagahama City.
The antenna shop which collected the products of the towns in IKA County was opened in Kinomoto Kitaguni-kaido.
The idea is to make the best use of the local products of IKA. So we named it “IKA’S MONO” and branded it.
Four towns come together and become one and enhance it. We made a logo in the shape of a squid, based on this concept.
We used minimal parts, such as headers, to unify the image of packaging for products from different producers.
We prepared a lucky charm with a squid-themed fortune slip for customers, and a glass case with an inviting squid for the store.
We didn’t have any squid, but we used a variety of squid for our branding.
