This is a packaging piece I made for an exhibition.

Mr. Hanazawa, the designer of this yunomi cup, has been giving importance to the story.

One of his representative works is the paper mold lighting fixtures.

For me, his image is this paper mold, and I used it for this package.

All packaging materials are made of recyclable paper.

In contrast, I used the stiff packaging material to cover the sharp ceramic inside.

Considering the process of opening the package, we designed it to have an unexpected look.

The image of the package was created from the information about the “calm holm” and the gallery’s interior, with its white walls and mortar floor, and the large selection of matt-textured vessels.
