TAKASHIMA A MONO GP
今年で８回目を迎える滋賀県高島市の「ええもの」を集めたコンテスト「高島ええものグランプリ」のリニューアルブランディングに関わりました。 受賞者は「センスがええ」ということで、トロフィー代わりに高島扇子が贈呈されました。 最高金賞に選ばれたのは、とも栄さんの「ふなずしxベイクド羊羹」の”ふなチー”です。 滋賀の人って、本当に鮒寿司を美味しくすることに執念を燃やしています！これが鮒寿司なの？っていうくらい美味しいもの沢山あります。これも、チーズ不使用なのに濃厚チーズケーキそのもので、審査員絶賛でした。 他にも金賞の発酵ドルチェ米シュワグルトも鮒寿司を作る際の飯から作られたヨーグルトです。 その他の金賞には、和ろうそくの大與さんは有名ですが、高島発アウトドアブランドの業界最小クラスの焚火台や、琵琶湖の宝石と呼ばれるビワマスひつまぶし、メタセコイアのブラウニーケーキなど、ユニークな商品が揃いました。 審査委員長も近年稀に見るハイレベルとおっしゃっていました。 We were involved in the renewal branding of the contest that featured "ehimono" (good things) from Takashima City, Shiga Prefecture, which is now in its 8th year. In lieu of a trophy, a Takashima fan was presented to the winners for their "good taste. The top gold medal went to Tomoei's "Funachie" (Funazushi x Baked Yokan). The people of Shiga are really dedicated to making funa-zushi delicious! There are so many delicious funazushi that you may wonder, "Is this really funazushi? The judges also praised the cheesecake, saying that it was just like a rich cheesecake, even though it did not contain cheese. Another gold award winner, Fermented Dolce Rice Schwagurt, is a yogurt made from the rice used to make funa-zushi. Other Gold Award winners included Ooyo, a well-known Japanese candle maker, the smallest fire pit in the industry from an outdoor brand from Takashima, Biwa trout hittomabushi, the jewel of Lake Biwa, metasequoia brownie cake, and many other unique products. CHONMAGE YOKAN

TACHI
シンプルでオーソドックスなデザインを心がけてデザインしました。
とても軽く、使いやすく、あまり緊張しすぎない、しかしそこまでカジュアルでもない。
runoの丸く柔らかいデザインと対照的に、tachiは、凛とした佇まいを持ったデザインです。（写真の後半はrunoとの比較です）
非常に軽く出来ています。
斜め上からはあまり裏側が見えませんが、裏側の削り込みにより手がすっと入り、大変持ちやすくデザインされています。
山中塗とは、石川県加賀市の山中温泉地区で作られる漆器で、山中漆器と呼ばれます。国産のミズメ桜を轆轤挽きで仕上げ、拭き漆技法で仕上げました。
We designed this product with a simple and orthodox design in mind.
It is very light, easy to use, not too strained, but not that casual either.
In contrast to the round and soft design of runo, tachi has a dignified appearance. (The second half of the photo is a comparison with runo.)
It is made very light.
Although you cannot see the back side of the bowl from an angle, the back side has been cut down so that you can easily put your hand into the bowl, making it very easy to hold.
Yamanaka-nuri is a type of lacquerware produced in the Yamanaka Onsen area of Kaga City, Ishikawa Prefecture, and is called Yamanaka lacquerware. The potter's wheel is made of domestically produced mizume-zakura (cherry tree) and finished with the wipe lacquer technique.

ONDAはイタリア語で波を意味します。これはチェストですが表面が波のようにカーブしています。ウォルナットとヨーロッパビーチに２種類の木のコントラストがあるデザインです。ONDA means wave in Italian. This is a chest, but its surface is curved like a wave. The design has a contrast between two types of wood in walnut and European beach.

NISHITANIDO MISO STEW
京都の老舗西谷堂の京都野菜の味噌煮込みのパッケージデザインです。シルバーのパウチでは味気ないので味噌桶に漬かった中身が一目でわかるパッケージとしました。白味噌と赤味噌があります。This is the package design for Nishitanido's Kyoto vegetable miso stew. A silver pouch would be bland, so we designed a package that allows you to see at a glance what's inside the miso tub. There are white miso and red miso.

TOILET SIGN
白い壁面にも際立つ美しいデザインのトイレサインです。JIS規格のトイレサインの形状は堅すぎるけど、売っているものはカジュアルすぎるものが多いので、ちょうど良いバランスで飽きのこないシンプルデザインを考えました。トイレマークも一度貼ったら10年、20年は変えないと思いますので、普遍性を大事にデザインしました。厚みは7mmでしっかりと木の厚みが感じられます。This is a beautifully designed toilet sign that stands out against the white wall. the JIS standard toilet sign shape is too rigid, but many of the ones sold are too casual, so we came up with a simple design that strikes just the right balance and will never become boring. Once the toilet sign is affixed, it is not likely to be changed for 10 or 20 years, so we designed it with universality in mind. The thickness is 7mm, and you can feel the thickness of the wood.

SHIGA CHAIR
滋賀県のナラ枯材を使った椅子を作る滋賀チェアプロジェクトのブランディングと椅子のデザインを担当しました。製造技術が非常に高い飛騨産業とのコラボレーションによって生まれたアームチェアです。滋賀を代表する椅子になってほしいと思いを込めてSHIGA CHAIRと名付けました。I was in charge of branding and chair design for the Shiga Chair Project, a project to create chairs using oak withers from Shiga Prefecture. This armchair was created in collaboration with Hida Sangyo, a company with very high manufacturing technology. We named it SHIGA CHAIR with the hope that it will become a chair representing Shiga.

220は特殊な触媒を用いて飲料の味を変化させる魔法のマドラーです。数秒かき混ぜるだけでワインが熟成されたような味になります。プロダクトデザインは秋田道夫氏、ブランディングを弊社が担当しました。220 is a magic muddler that uses a special catalyst to change the taste of beverages. Just a few seconds of stirring is all it takes to make wine taste like it has been aged. Product design was done by Michio Akita and branding by our company.

これはシャンプーとリンスのデザインです。琵琶湖にも優しい、人にも優しい原料でできており、100%自然に分解される厳選素材を使用しております。売り上げの一部を琵琶湖の環境保全にも役立てています。This is a shampoo and conditioner design. They are made of carefully selected ingredients that are both friendly to Lake Biwa and to people, and are 100% naturally degradable. A portion of the proceeds is also used to help preserve the environment of Lake Biwa.
